From your first conversation through to sessions, rentals or chamber ownership, safety is considered at every stage.
Screening
We review your health history and suitability before recommending HBOT, helping identify whether there are reasons HBOT may not be appropriate or where further medical input may be needed.
Appropriate Programme & Equipment
Chamber type, pressure, session frequency and intended use are considered rather than treating every person or every HBOT application in the same way.
Clear Safety & Operating Guidance
Before you begin, we explain how the chamber operates, what can and cannot enter the chamber, and the procedures you need to understand for safe use.
Ongoing Support
Our involvement doesn't end once you begin. ReWell remains available throughout your programme or rental for practical questions, troubleshooting and ongoing guidance.
Specialist Hyperbaric Oversight
Safety Led by Specialist Hyperbaric Training
ReWell founder Davitt Meenaghan is an IBUM-certified Hyperbaric Safety Officer, with specialist training in hyperbaric safety, chamber operation and the practical requirements surrounding HBOT delivery.
His experience working directly with hyperbaric chambers — across clinic sessions, home rentals and equipment installations — means safety at ReWell isn't treated as a checklist added at the end. It informs how clients are screened, how equipment is selected and set up, how people are trained to use it and how support is provided once a programme begins.
Davitt also works with individuals and organisations considering chamber rental, purchase or installation, helping them understand the differences between chamber types, operating pressures, equipment requirements and the safety considerations that come with each setting.

The same safety-first approach applies when a ReWell chamber is installed in your home or facility. We provide delivery and set-up, operating and safety guidance, equipment-specific training and ongoing support so you understand how to use your chamber appropriately from day one.
For organisations purchasing or installing HBOT equipment, ReWell can also provide guidance around chamber selection, installation, operating procedures, safety considerations and appropriate use.

Why We Have Strict Device Rules
HBOT involves increased atmospheric pressure and an oxygen-enriched environment. For this reason, we maintain strict controls around electronic devices, batteries and other items that are not suitable for use inside the chamber.
Phones, smartwatches, tablets and similar devices therefore remain outside the chamber during a session. These precautions form part of the broader operating and safety procedures followed at ReWell.

A Few Common Safety Questions
Why can't phones or devices go inside the chamber?
Electronic devices and lithium-ion batteries aren't suitable for the oxygen-enriched environment inside a hyperbaric chamber, so they remain outside during a session. We'll explain the relevant precautions before you begin.
What happens if I need assistance during a session?
Before you begin, we'll explain how the chamber operates and what to do if you need to pause or end a session. For home chamber users, ReWell also provides ongoing support if questions arise during your programme.
How do you make sure the equipment is safe?
Chambers are set up, operated and maintained in accordance with the relevant manufacturer guidance, with defined procedures for operation, monitoring and shutdown.
Is HBOT screening required before every programme?
Yes. Clients are screened for suitability before beginning an HBOT programme. This allows us to consider health history, contraindications and whether further medical input may be appropriate before proceeding.
