What is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT)?
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy combines increased atmospheric pressure with oxygen. Under pressure, more oxygen can dissolve into the blood plasma, increasing oxygen availability throughout the body.
Oxygen plays an essential role in cellular energy production, tissue repair and many of the body's natural recovery processes. These physiological effects underpin HBOT's established medical uses and ongoing research into a wider range of health, recovery and performance applications.

Research into HBOT spans a wide range of areas, including concussion and brain injury, chronic pain and fibromyalgia, Long COVID and post-viral symptoms, neurological health, athletic recovery, post-surgery recovery, inflammatory conditions and wound healing.
The strength and quality of evidence varies considerably between conditions. That is why ReWell looks at the research by individual area, including what studies have found and the limitations that need to be considered.

You sit or lie comfortably inside the chamber while the pressure gradually increases. Oxygen is supplied during the session according to the chamber and programme being used.
Sessions commonly last around 60–90 minutes, although session length and frequency can vary depending on the chamber, intended use and individual programme.
During pressurisation you may notice pressure in your ears, similar to the sensation experienced during take-off or landing in an aeroplane. We explain how to equalise your ears and what to expect before you begin.
How many HBOT sessions will I need?
There is no single number of HBOT sessions that is right for everyone.
HBOT programmes vary depending on why it is being used, the type of chamber, pressure, session frequency, individual circumstances and any existing medical care. Research programmes often involve repeated sessions rather than occasional individual treatments.
If you want regular access to HBOT, a home chamber rental can make it possible to complete sessions at home without travelling to the clinic each time.

Where can I access HBOT with ReWell?
ReWell offers three main ways to access HBOT:
- Clinic Sessions — experience HBOT at ReWell clinic locations in Naas and Dublin.
- Home Chamber Rental — rent a hyperbaric chamber for regular use in the comfort of your own home, with delivery, setup and ongoing support from ReWell.
- Chamber Ownership — purchase a chamber for home or professional use, including families, clinics, sports facilities and wellness businesses.
ReWell provides home chamber rental, delivery and support nationwide across Ireland, so you do not need to live near a ReWell clinic to access HBOT at home.

Clinic Sessions
HBOT Sessions in Naas & Dublin
How much does an HBOT session cost?
ReWell offers guided 60-minute and 90-minute HBOT clinic sessions at our Naas and Dublin locations.
A 60-minute session is €85 and a 90-minute session is €100. These prices include VAT.
Packages of 5, 10 and 20 sessions are also available for clients who plan to attend more regularly.

Yes. A clinic session is the simplest way to experience HBOT before making a longer commitment. You can then decide whether occasional clinic access, regular home access through rental or long-term chamber ownership suits you best.
Can I move from clinic sessions to home HBOT?
Yes. ReWell is designed around a simple Try → Rent → Own pathway, so you can experience HBOT first and explore longer-term access later if it suits your circumstances.

Can I rent a hyperbaric chamber for home use in Ireland?
Yes. ReWell provides home hyperbaric chamber rental nationwide across Ireland, with delivery, installation, operating guidance and ongoing support.
Soft-shell rental options operate at 1.5 ATA and are available in lying, seated and accessible configurations.
How much does a soft-shell hyperbaric chamber cost to rent?

What's included with a home soft-shell rental?
A ReWell home rental includes the chamber and required equipment, delivery and installation, operating and safety guidance, guidance on using your chamber and ongoing support throughout the rental period.
Is there a minimum rental period for soft-shell chambers?
Soft-shell options are available from one month, with two- and three-month packages available for clients who want longer home access.
Is home HBOT the same as a clinic session?
Not necessarily. The chamber, pressure, oxygen delivery and intended use can differ between clinic and home HBOT. ReWell's soft-shell home chambers operate at 1.5 ATA, while hard-shell chambers can operate at higher pressures.
Home access can make regular use more practical, but higher pressure or more frequent access is not automatically better. The appropriate setup depends on the circumstances and intended use.

Does ReWell rent hard-shell hyperbaric chambers?
Yes. ReWell offers hard-shell hyperbaric chamber rental for individuals and organisations looking for higher-pressure or longer-term chamber access.
Current hard-shell rental options include models capable of operating at 2.0 ATA and 2.5 ATA.
How much does a hard-shell chamber cost to rent?
Hard-shell rentals currently start from €1,999 per month. Current examples include:
- 2.0 ATA Slimline Lying Chamber — €1,999/month
- 2.0 ATA Lying Chamber — €2,499/month
- 2.0 ATA Seated Capsule — €2,999/month
- 2.5 ATA Slimline — €2,299/month
- 2.5 ATA Lying Chamber — €2,799/month
Hard-shell rentals have a minimum six-month term. Delivery is arranged separately.

The main differences include chamber construction, operating pressure, footprint, installation requirements and intended use.
ReWell's soft-shell rental chambers operate at 1.5 ATA. Selected hard-shell ReWell chambers can operate at pressures up to 2.5 ATA.
Higher pressure is not automatically better. Davitt can help explain the available chamber types and which may better match how and where you intend to use HBOT.
Do 2.5 ATA chambers require training?
Yes. ReWell's current 2.5 ATA hard-shell chambers require operational training, which is included where applicable. The current 2.0 ATA models do not require the same training.

Can I put rental payments towards buying a hyperbaric chamber?
Yes. Under the ReWell rent-to-buy pathway, up to six months of eligible rental payments can be credited towards purchasing your chamber.
This allows you to rent first, experience longer-term chamber access and then decide whether ownership makes sense for you.
Eligibility and the amount of rental credit available should be confirmed with ReWell before entering a rental agreement.

Can I buy a hyperbaric chamber from ReWell?
Yes. ReWell supplies soft-shell and hard-shell hyperbaric chambers throughout Ireland for individuals, families and professional settings including clinics, rehabilitation facilities, sports organisations and wellness businesses.
Chambers currently start from €9,999 excluding VAT.

Safety & What to Expect
HBOT Safety
Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy safe?
HBOT has an established safety profile when appropriate screening, equipment, operating procedures and supervision are in place.
ReWell's HBOT services are overseen by Davitt Meenaghan, an IBUM-certified Hyperbaric Safety Officer, with screening, chamber-specific guidance and documented safety procedures built into the ReWell approach.

HBOT is generally well tolerated, but side effects and complications can occur.
Common issues can include ear or sinus pressure and temporary fatigue. Less common complications can relate to pressure changes or oxygen exposure.
HBOT is not appropriate for everyone, which is why health screening and appropriate medical guidance are important before use.
Who should not use HBOT?
Certain conditions require additional caution or may make HBOT unsuitable. An untreated pneumothorax is an absolute contraindication, while some medications and ear, sinus or lung conditions may require additional medical review.
ReWell screens clients before starting HBOT and may recommend further medical clearance where appropriate.
Why can't phones or lithium-ion devices go inside a hyperbaric chamber?
Electronic devices and lithium-ion batteries can introduce additional risk in an oxygen-enriched pressurised environment.
Phones, tablets, smartwatches and similar devices therefore remain outside the chamber during ReWell sessions and home use.

Do you deliver hyperbaric chambers throughout Ireland?
Yes. ReWell provides home HBOT rental and chamber delivery across all 32 counties, including Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Belfast and surrounding areas.
Delivery, access and installation requirements can vary depending on the chamber, particularly for hard-shell systems.
What happens when a rental chamber arrives?
The ReWell team arranges delivery and set-up, explains how the chamber operates, walks you through the relevant safety procedures and provides ongoing support throughout the rental period.
What support do I receive while using a chamber at home?
You are not simply left with the equipment.
ReWell provides operating guidance and ongoing support by phone and WhatsApp, so you can ask questions throughout your rental or ownership journey.
